2011 Liquid Gold Assortment Case Sauternes

Nothing better than a fresh glass of Sauternes! Whenever I have one, I think, “Why do I not have this more often!”. Following the great 2001-2005-2009-2010, 2011 is yet again a very strong Sauternes vintage. However sweet, these wines can be drunk effortlessly. Lovely perfumed sweet nose, pineapples and peach. These are a touch sweeter than usual but extremely well-balanced and have a pleasant, fresh, elegant, long finish.
